Long lovely rides through forested hills and over picturesque pastures on Natural Horsemanship trained North Swedish horses. You will be given a thorough briefing on these sturdy strong horses and how we ride them. You will get plenty of time to get to know your horse before we set off. Before galloping we make sure rider and horse understand each other and work well together. There is plenty of time for nice, long gallops anyway. Nature here is hilly and we see very few humans, more wildlife actually. We pass places with splendid views, pass secluded forest lakes and lively forest streams.
You sleep in a newly renovated timber log house on the farm in a room with 2 or 3 beds, all 3 rooms ensuite. Supper is served in our farmhouse pub, where you can linger in the evenings.
Food is local produce and from the waters and forests around. A lot of fish and game is used, and it is possible to do some shopping of local handicraft.
On the same tour it is possible to choose five days and four nights with three days riding or seven days and six nights with five days riding.

| Accomodation | In
a small, recently renovated, old timber cottage. With two 2-bed rooms
and one 3-bed room, and all three are ensuite. Meals are served in
the farm house pub that also includes common quarters for relaxation.
Bedsheets and towels included. Free Internet access in the pub. |

food from arrival to departure included. Alcoholic beverages served
but not included in the price. |
| Equipment | Shortchaps,
approved helmet and rainponcho included. Bring along good riding pants so that the friction is between the pant and the saddle - with normal riding pants there will be friction between the pant and your skin, and that is certainly not a pleasure on a long ride. |
| The Horses | North
Swedish Cold Bloods, trained to be safe and secure. The horses are
handleed and ridden with care and has the Swedsih cavallery saddles,
which have been developed over hundreds of years for both horse and
human during tough conditions in long rides over rough terrain. We ride bitless but with a sort of ridehalter, a.k.a sidepull. |
| Riding Ability | To
be able to come along on a Saga ride, you need to know how to handle
a horse in walking pace, trot and gallope, Often we ride for more than four hours per day. The Sagarides are not for beginners.) |
